A dismissed Staff of the Public Complaints Commission,PCC, Mrs. Ichani.S.D. Nomuoja has dragged the Federal Civil Service Commission,FCSC, the Head of Service of the Federation,HOS and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,SGF before the Federal High Court, Abuja, demanding Forty-million Seven Hundred and Nineteen Thousand, Five Hundred and Twelve Naira, Twenty Kobo as damages and breach of contract of employment over her alleged dismissal by the PCC, DAILY POST can report.

Nomuoja is also demanding for her immediate reinstatement with her unpaid claims /entitlements and salaries,increment, leave bonus and monetization paid in full.


In a chat with DAILY POST, Nomuoja stated that she was among several others allegedly dismissed by the PCC in 1999 under the guise of rationalization.

Nomuoja also stated that the dismissal was later reverted by “Fiat” by former President, Olusegun Obasanjo who said anybody not due for retirement should be recalled, stressing that she was not recalled.

She claimed that she had sought the help of the relevant authorities to address the matter to no avail.

Nomuoja in Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/154/2010 claimed she was allegedly dismissed in 1999 from the Federal Civil Service without adequate compensation by the PCC. She said her dismissal was unjust and premature.


She claimed she had suffered untold hardship since her dismissal which is not in accordance with the relevant laws regulating employments with statutory flavors.

Nomuoja appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to wade into her case in the interest of justice.

She disclosed that the matter has been transferred to the Federal High Court, Benin-City from Abuja in a letter dated 1/1/2013 and another letter addressed to the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Ethics & Values dated October 286,2013.

Nomuoja said this is to enable her meet with distance, finances and save her risks involved in the movement from Benin to Abuja frequently.
